Sarah Cusey (b. 1981) is an artist, educator, and nonprofit administrator based in San Diego, California. Her work draws attention to and documents everyday moments pregnant with enchantment and wonder. Through her practice, Sarah alters her own experience of time, offering it as a luxurious and abundant gift for the viewer to enjoy and participate in. Sarah draws inspiration from her own childhood in the rural pacific northwest and her daughter’s childhood in the urban pacific southwest.
